Blast Freezing
The Oakland facility is equipped with modern blast freezing machinery including two tunnels, both of which can handle 60,000 pounds. The tunnels are the newest in the Bay Area and are monitored by a state-of-the-art computerized temperature monitoring system. Slatting services are available to help reduce freezing time.Cross-Docking and Transloading
All of our warehouses offer a variety of cross-docking and transloading options including truck to container, rail to container and truck to rail. We maintain fully refrigerated enclosed dock areas to protect product from thermal abuse while in transit. Our Oakland warehouse is situated in the overweight container zone and can cross-dock product from rail or truck onto overweight containers destined for the Port of Oakland.Import/Export Services
Dreisbach is approved by the USDA for import and export services. Our Oakland facility offers a full-time USDA Inspector on site to immediately meet our customers’ needs in this area. Our services include complete stamping and certification. Additionally, we offer container loading, freight consolidation and source loading.Transportation and Drayage
In addition to the LTL/TL freight pooling and consolidation programs offered by Dreisbach Freight Services, our warehouses offer drayage and transportation services both to and from the Ports of Oakland, Richmond or San Francisco. Shuttle services are also available throughout the greater Bay Area.Customized Programs
