Distribution Programs

Dreisbach Richmond is approved by the USDA for import and export services. We can schedule and arrange for inspections in addition to stamping and certification. We have an onsite USDC inspector who can quality certify our import customer’s seafood. Additionally, we offer container stuffing, freight consolidation and source loading.Specialized Handling of Temperature Sensitive Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
Richmond maintains several rooms at multiple temperatures from 35 to 55 degrees for proper handling and storage of these fragile commodities. Our staff is highly trained in the delicate handling of these products.Specialized Loading and Unloading of Air Freight Containers
Our air freight containerization program currently includes, but is not limited to, the loading and unloading of A-2s and LD-3s. Our air freight services also include the insulation of freight containers, the placement of proper floor absorbents, the application of technologically designed quilting and the insertion of gel ice to maintain the cooling process under transport.Cross-Docking and Transloading
All of our warehouses offer a variety of cross-docking and transloading options including truck to container, rail to container and truck to rail. We maintain fully refrigerated enclosed dock areas to protect product from thermal abuse while in transit.Transportation and Drayage
In addition to the LTL/TL freight pooling and consolidation programs of Dreisbach Freight Services, our warehouses offer drayage and transportation services both to and from the Ports of Oakland, Richmond or San Francisco. Shuttle services are also available throughout the greater Bay Area.Customized Programs
