Transload and Consolidation Facility
Dreisbach is proud to partner with Lineage Logistics on Cool Port Oakland, a state-of-the-art intermodal transload and consolidation facility for perishable commodities at the Port of Oakland. Cool Port is 275,000 square feet with 18 rail and 90 truck doors to complement 20,000 pallet positions for both frozen and refrigerated commodities; it has an annual capacity of up to 9000 railcars and 50,000+ TEUs.
Being situated at the Port of Oakland coupled with customized drayage equipment enables Cool Port to handle up to 64,000 lbs. of gross cargo weight per container. On-site USDA Import and Export Inspection, blast freezing, 200+ container plugs and an intermodal centric ERP gives Cool Port the full-service capabilities necessary for Importers and Exporters to compete in today’s market.
